The finish is done by several layers of resins and varnishes applied manually between each sanding. The basins and bathtubs are checked at each stage of manufacture. The reliability of the IMAGE process has been tested in the laboratory by a Japanese company and all have proven to be extremely satisfactory under normal bathroom conditions.
