In 1996, marble and natural stones were the primary luxury materials used in high-end bathroom design, while materials such as wood, crystal, leather, solid surface, and other innovative finishes were unheard of. Stephan Pousse, already in New York for 9 years managing a marble contractor operation and working for top architects, interior designers, and general contractors, saw the opportunity to bring innovative European bathroom fixtures to the American market. This solid background in residential construction gave him the technical knowledge and industry insight to successfully bridge design creativity with practical execution—an invaluable skill that laid the foundation for PSCBATH. He connected with a French company that manufactures solid wooden basins and wooden bathtubs and launched the distribution of Image’s wooden products in the US. His vision led to the creation of PSCBATH. After a couple of years, the concept was expanded to bring creative European bathroom fixtures with luxury design, combining everyday functionality with exceptional quality and timeless design.
