MARGOT taps and fittings is a century old company established in 1910 by
a young engineer from Paris who started a foundry workshop in Eu,
located on the seaside in the North-East of France, an area historically known for brass hardware and taps production.
For over 50
years, the company grew with prestigious hotels equipped with MARGOT
fittings, then started a second production plant for brass tooling,
polishing and plating which lead to production of standard faucets.
1974, the meeting of owner Andre Margot with French bathroom designer
Jean Claude Delepine pushed MARGOT in the world of luxurious products.
The 25 years collaboration allowed hundreds of refined and high quality
parts to be created and used in the best hotels around the world.
This craftsmanship and the quest for a luxury fitting are the foundations for the MARGOT brand.
In 1979, production of the Retro lines "Thetis", "Circe" and "Art Deco" series were started. At
the end of the 20th century, the brand Margot is recognized around the world and becomes the reference for prestigious orders such as the
master bathrooms for the Qatar emirate, the Crillon Hotel in Paris,
Cipriani in Venice, the DaLat Palace in Vietnam, and the Peninsula Hong
Kong. In 2004, production is transferred to a new site and includes the entire
manufacturing process from brass foundry to finishing; it preserved the
vast knowledge of their skilled workers allowing this century-old
tradition of brass hardware craftsmanship to continue existing. In
2010 and early 2011, many months of preparation work were spent to
bring the products in conformity with US standards.
With a competitive marketing program and delivery time frames for selected models and standard life-time warranty we are very excited to
offer these bath & shower fittings of superb craftsmanship to
the decorative plumbing industry.
